You are Divine. You are powerful. I honor who you are. I see you as whole and complete.
Who in your life really sees you? Who do you allow to see you? And who do you choose to see?
What does it mean to really see someone?
Most of the time, people go through life playing roles and wearing masks; and the essence of who we really are gets hidden or repressed. Two of the most common unconscious fears that just about everyone faces are: 1) I’m not good enough; and 2) because I’m not good enough, I won’t be loved. Often these fears are completely outside of our awareness.
So often people try to cover up these fears and fill the void by achieving, buying, doing, hiding… piling on roles, identities, material possessions, perceptions of what they “have to do,” and all the other “stuff” – not because it’s the essence of who they really are, but because if they do all these things… then, they’ll finally be good enough, and they’ll finally be loved. The challenge is it’s an insatiable pursuit based on a false premise.
Don’t get me wrong – I’m all about living, achieving and creating prosperity. The question is… are you doing it to fill an inner void, or are you doing it because it is a choice, an extension of your spirit, and an expression of your gifts?
What would happen if you knew that you already ARE good enough and you ARE loved… exactly as you are? How would life be different if each of us knew inside that we are whole and complete right now? When we look past the illusions, when we get to the heart of who we are – that’s when we really communicate and commune. And in that space… anything you envision and believe is possible.
My dear friend Steve and I had lunch the other day and when I greeted him I said, “Steve, it’s so good to see you.”
And you know what he said to me?
He said, “It’s good to be seen.”
Now, Steve’s a funny guy, and he was being playful – but I believe language is a portal into the subconscious mind. So when he said, “It’s good to be seen,” it really hit me.
It is good to be seen!
Yes, it is.
Notice and appreciate the best in others. Because when we really see each other, we release the need to fight, defend, justify, overcompensate, hide or pretend. Our relationships deepen, our self-confidence and self-love expands, and our power and presence amplifies. You may have heard the Sanskrit greeting “Namaste.” It means, “the Divine in me recognizes the Divine in you.” Can you imagine the peace and beauty of a world where we see each other for who we really are? Now that’s real magic. Are you ready for it? Are you ready to see? Are you ready to be seen?
Remember…
One person’s awakening elevates the consciousness of the planet — YOU are the one!
