Perception is Not Reality We are universal observers.  On a daily basis, we not only have the ability to observe each event in our life as it unfolds, but to assign meaning to it.  The Law of Supreme Influence, Perception is Projection, presupposes a tendency to observe events through mental filters and sensory lenses, colored by previous experiences.  In being consciously aware of this process, we create the opportunity to choose which experiences to build on, and which to let go.

Attracting Happiness and Abundance through Our Powers of Perception

We are universal observers.

Most of us, at one point in our lives, have been hurt in a relationship, which can alter our perception of relationships as a whole.  When we enter new relationships full of possibility, a common tendency is to continue to subconsciously project the challenges of previous relationships onto new relationships.  Through recognizing every opportunity as a fresh start, free of limiting beliefs and perception, we become more empowered to experience each opportunity first hand, without limiting it to our projections.

In fact, many of our results stem from what we expect of ourselves and of others.  Take into consideration the placebo effect; in controlled studies for new pharmaceutical drugs, researchers determine the percentage of people who heal, without medication, as a result of a placebo, or sugar pill.  Amazingly, it is not rare to find that such placebos commonly “cure” a significant percentage of participants.  These results occur because of participants who enter the study with a clean slate, believing that they will be receiving a promising new drug that will heal them of past ailments.  They perceive the drug will work, and so it does.  Our expectations for ourselves and others determine our results – life is a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Imagine if we could harness the power of the placebo to heal in our everyday life.  What if we believed that things were going to work?  What if we had the power to release our past perceptions and stop repeating past patterns?  We do!  Through the awareness of our perceptions, we can project new, empowering beliefs into happening now.

Possibilities are infinite.  Is it not possible for us to gain greater wealth than we currently have?  Is it not possible to have healthier relationships or to move past any ailments or injuries from which we currently suffer into a healthier mind, body, and spirit?  Is it possible that the next person who walks into our life might somehow be able to help us increase our wealth, or that the next person that we talk to might be able to help us move in new directions by facilitating the healing process emotionally, mentally, socially, physically, or spiritually?  By opening ourselves to the possibility that every person is capable of helping us, we expand the opportunity for people to be of help, rather than limiting them to the fulfillment of negative expectations.  Through changing our perceptions, we create opportunities to achieve success in unexpected ways.

Most people go through life never awakening to the power of their expectations.  Take this opportunity to empower yourself with the knowledge that perception is projection.  Believe that what you desire is attainable, and that every encounter has the possibility of helping you move closer to your goals and objectives.

In life, we have everything to gain and nothing to lose by believing in our own success through the power of our perceptions.
