Creating a state of success
Physiology
The first ingredient to a state of being that is resourceful and that invites success into your life is your use of physiology. Physiology is how you move your body. Creating a physiological state that is empowered is important because our motion creates emotion, meaning that how we move impacts how we feel.
Have you ever been depressed or have you ever met a depressed person? If I were to ask you to describe a depressed person for me, could you do it? If I were to ask you where their shoulders are, up or down, could you tell me? Probably down, right? If I were to ask you how is their breathing, deep diaphragm breaths or shallow, what would you say? You would probably say shallow. How about their eye contact, direct or down? You would probably say down.
Do you know that it is a fact that if you actually sat next to a depressed person and you mirrored their physiology, including breathing and posture, that it would be a short period of time before you duplicated those exact emotional states? Motion creates emotion. Be aware of how you hold yourself and how your physical stance has the power to influence your state of being.
Language
The second ingredient is language. This implies not just the words that you use but also how you use them. Language is not purely external. It is also internal. That little voice inside your head dictates how you communicate with you and thus how you take that internal communication and turn it into external communication. The words that you use describe yourself, your life, and where you are going are powerful determinants which reveal the state of being that you are in.
If you are interesting in success, in being resourceful, and in creating the reality you desire, pay attention to your language! Be aware of how you linguistically interpret your environment, situations that you encounter, and your self image. If you desire to influence yourself and others, language is a great place to start.
Beliefs
Beliefs often develop in childhood. If someone said something to you when you were five and now you are well into adulthood and still operating off the same software, you may be in need of a refresh. One of the goals of studying and learning the Laws of Supreme Influence is updating that software and creating more positive and loving beliefs about who you are and what you are put on this Earth to do.
Transforming beliefs that do not invite success is about giving you the option to transform what you believe to be true about you. When you look inward and analyze how you see yourself and who you believe yourself to be, it is clear what challenges may exist. Likewise, what you believe about the world around you will alter how you interact with everyone that you meet. Understanding the power of our beliefs is fundamental to success.
Focus
So the first ingredient is physiology, second is language, third is beliefs, and now the fourth ingredient is focus. And it’s not just what you focus on but it’s how you focus. Whether or not you will attract success into your life depends on your subconscious programming. One aspect of your subconscious programming is your state of being and your ability to create an empowered state immediately despite what may be happening in your environment. This empowered state is only possible with the proper use of the three previous ingredients as well as a purposeful use of focus. These four ingredients and how they create resource in the lives of successful leaders are discussed in greater detail at our events.
Internal Representations
Your internal representations determine how you perceive the world. Internal representations look out into the infinite possibilities before us and select a very small percentage of what’s going on that harmonizes with our subconscious and then presents these images to us. So we see the world and then we tell a story about what we see, and that story becomes reality in our own mind. It is how we interpret the world around us, through filters, that impacts what we are able to perceive and therefore what we can then attract into our lives. This is the fifth ingredient to success and resource.
Identity
The next thing that impacts what you’re able to attract is your identity. This is the most profound and important ingredient as well as the most all encompassing. Your identity is the subconscious database of information which answers the question “Who am I?” How you answer this question drives your life. It determines what bits of information you are able to perceive. If you would identify yourself as a spiritual being, you are going to attract different things into your life than if you see yourself as a victim or as someone who struggles to find success. If you identify yourself as someone who is attracting wealth, abundance, and prosperity then you are going to act differently than if you see yourself as broke, or identify with a poverty consciousness. So your subconscious identity, meaning how you answer the question who am I, will impact your ability to perceive the world and what you attract into your life.
When our mind, language, focus, values, identity and physiology are in alignment creating our highest self, the Universe becomes an ocean, full of life, limitless and powerful. You can then see the abundant Universe and utilize the gifts around you for the benefit of your life as well as the lives of others. A resourceful state must be produced for the good of all, a labor of love that has as its sole purpose the betterment of humankind and the self. Personal benefit has no true weight if we do not see how our internal resources can be used to enlighten not only ourselves but those around us as well. We are all connected.
